| Description: OlapX is a sophisticated multidimensional database browsing tool. It enables the interactive analysis, reporting and presentation of Microsoft's Analysis Services databases.
Designed for users at any business or technical skill level in a company to perform their own multidimensional analysis, create reports, and share them for better decision making.
Open database, local, remote cubes or saved views - The user can connect to a remote Microsoft Analysis Services database, open a local cube, open a remote cube via a Web address or open a previously save cube view.
Intuitive navigation thru multidimensional data - OlapX is a 'data driven' tool. Basically, click on a heading value and click on a value to change the shape of the data displayed, and use the toolbar to change the format of the display.
It's very easy to choose the data you want to see - The information of a cube is divided in dimensions. Each dimension can have multiple levels which make its hierarchy. Each dimension can be viewed as a hierarchy (allowing drill downs on the data), as a list of values (including values from different levels) or as the members of a level in the hierarchy among others.
Pareto and dimension options - It's very easy to chose a subset of the elements of a dimension according to their certain values. You can choose to bring the 'n' greater o lower data, or all the elements which values add up to a certain amount or a certain percentage of the total.
Diverse options for sorting your data - You can order the data viewed according to a certain value. The ordering can respect the dimensions hierarchy or can break out the hierarchy.
Multiple format options enables you to personalize your information - You can set the color and font of the data grid and titles, either for subtotals or normal values. Also the data format of how to display the values you seek and the style and colors of the grid. |
