| Description: JOE ist ein Freeware-Editor, der sich besonders zum Editieren von Java Quellcode eignet. Besonderes Augenmerk wurde bei der Entwicklung auf die Unterstützung des JDK von SUN gelegt. So läßt sich beispielsweise der Java Code direkt aus JOE heraus compilieren und starten. Zukünftige Versionen von JOE werden auch die Möglichlkeit bieten, direkt in JOE zu debuggen und alle anderen Tools des JDK aufzurufen (javadoc usw.).
Zur Erleichterung der Tipparbeit besteht die Möglichkeit Textblöcke zu definieren, die dann per Shortcut in den Quellcode übernommen werden könne. So lassen sich beispielsweise alle wichtigen Schlüsselwörter einfach mit einem Shortcut in den Code übernehmen. Läßtige Tipparbeit entfällt hier komplett.
Ein weiteres Highlight von JOE ist das SyntaxColoring von Java Befehlen, Konstanten, Kommentaren usw. Mit dieser Funktion sind Java Quellcodes noch einfacher zu verstehen und weit übersichtlicher.
JOE eignet sich durch seine einfache Bedienung auch für Einsteiger, bietet aber auch Funktionen, die Profis gefallen werden. |
