Browse, copy files from, and add files to archives just like any regular folder. Drag and drop files to and from the archive folders. Perform all archive tasks without ever leaving Explorer, including converting archive types from one to another.

Create any archive type from the 12 available with a single right click. Create (and email) multiple archives of different types. Extract multiple archives with a single right click. Drag and drop files onto archives to add them to the archive.
Codex Plug-In Technology!
The plug-in based product ships with 5 plug-ins that have full support for 12 (7Z, ACE, BH, BZIP2, CAB, GZIP, JAR, LHA, RAR, TAR, ZIP, ZLIB) and extract support for 25 archive types. Adding support for new archive types is as easy as installing their plug-ins.
Stand Alone Archive Applications!
The product also contains 4 stand-alone archive applications - command line, wizards, WinZip style, and a professional archive studio, so you can work in the environment you are most comfortable with for your needs.
Accessories!
Among the many tools included are: A tool to automatically sample the compression performance of the many different supported archive types, MIME/UUEncoding for easy file emailing, converting self extracting archives to regular archives, repairing damaged archives, recovering lost passwords on ZIP archives, and many more!
Codex 2.0 API/SDK!
The product ships with an SDK/API which developers can use to create their own plug-ins and applications to work within the open specifications of the Codex Plug-In Technology. Extensive on-line help makes the development of plug-ins as easy as possible. The Rapid Application Development API makes creating / updating / extracting files from archives possible with a single function call!
