| Description: Synchronize and backup any kind of digital data among multiple PCs. It comes with its own burner driver, supports any kind of medium (network drive, USB external disk, FTP server...). Multiple tools help the user to take control over backup tasks.
Through an Explorer like interface the user can easily access to any backup components ; script detail, log files, catalog, history and available backup files. Backup2009 Pro offers powerful synchronization tools and zip backup.
Backup2009 Pro is organized around a script. A script set contains the definition of the backup. It includes:
• which data to backup
• where to backup
• how to backup
Backup2009 Pro can backup or copy files even if they are open and locked by another process.It supports Microsoft 's Virtual Shadow Copy technology.
For more security Backup2009 Pro lets you to define a second copy folder and an alternate destination folder (in case the main destination folder is unavailable).
With Backup2009 Pro the user can define a standard profile for easy reuse when you define a new backup set.
Backuping and restoring will be very easy to do.
Backup2009 Pro manages a catalog where you can find details of each backup job. You will be able to consult, or search through, all backup jobs without opening individual backup files and even restore a single file from the catalog. Optionally, Backup2009 Pro can be set to ignore the catalog
For each backup job, you can ask Backup2009 Pro to generate a log file. After a backup job the log file can be sent to a specified Email address using SMTP protocol.
Any backup file can be viewed and restored even if the backup set does not exist. Backup2009 Pro is able to upload and download the backup job to or from an Ftp.
Backup2009 Pro offers a direct interface to the Windows task scheduler. You can define powerful backup strategy.
Backup2009 Pro can also manage Metascripts. A metascript is a collection of scripts.
