| Description: All duplicate file finders, removers or dupe detection programs do just about the same thing. They take your files, parse them and build reports by grouping analyzed files. Then you explore the resulting list trying to figure out what's what. Many dupe detection programs can locate identical files using various search criteria: search by names, extensions, creation date, size and content. But only the best dupe detection programs have fast and efficient algorithms for content search. Duplicate File Finder .NET is definitely one of the best. Unlike other dupe detection programs that can only do the search by CRC/MD5 or byte-by-byte comparison, Duplicate File Finder .NET uses much more efficient algorithms. It has two groups of algorithms. The first group (universal algorithms) is designed for analyzing both text files (txt, doc, rtf, html, asp, php, etc.) and binary data (exe, com, jpg, gif, mp3, mpg, etc.) This group of algorithms is most efficient at analyzing binary files. The second group of algorithms is used for text file analysis only. Therefore, combining the two groups of algorithms you will naturally enhance the efficiency of your file analysis. |
