| Description: ANT 4 MailChecking is an e-mail checker that lets you know when you have new email messages. It's very easy to set up and use and even includes support for spam filtering. It allows you to set up as many separate accounts as you like and checks for new messages at a regular interval of your choosing. A tiny window (optionally always-on-top) remains on your desktop, displaying the number of messages waiting for you on your server. You can hide the window, if you prefer, in favor of audio notification. ANT 4 MailChecking also allows you to set up a variety of spam filtering rules, based on sender, subject, message size and date. You can preview mails, assign custom icons, and delete them directly from the server. You can even shutdown your PC by email.Das Programm verbindet sich in einem wählbaren Intervall zu den eigenen POP3 Konten, und sammelt Informationen über die eingehenden Mails. Diese werden in einer übersichtlichen Liste dargestellt, in der man entscheiden kann, ob man die Mail etwa sofort vom Server löschen möchte. Es lässt sich aber auch der ganze Inhalt der Mail herunterladen und als Vorschau betrachten. Besonders praktisch ist ein kleines Fenster über der Windows Traybar, das für jeden POP3 Account ein farbiges Kästchen anzeigt. Darin steht die Zahl der neuen Emails, die auf ihre Abholung durch ein Email Programm warten. ANT 4 MailChecking bietet die Möglichkeit, Filterregeln aufgrund von Betreff, Absender, Größe oder Datum zu definieren. Eine Mail, die dem Filter entspricht, kann heruntergeladen, sofort gelöscht, mit einem Spezialicon hervorgehoben oder versteckt werden. Als Besonderheit bietet ANT 4 MailChecking, eine Shutdown Funktion. Man muss dazu nur eine geheime Filterregel definieren. Wenn man sich von unterwegs dann selbst eine Email schreibt, die diesem Filter entspricht, fährt ANT 4 MailChecking den Rechner automatisch herunter und schaltet ihn aus. |
