| Description: Welcome to Aha-Soft's Icon XP 3.10! This program is the best and most complete suite for crafting and editing icons. This software tool is simple for newcomers to the icon creating craft, yet powerful enough for professional graphic designers, who need to create original icons. No importance is attached to the version of your Windows as Icon XP supports all 32-bit versions.
Along with doing its initial duty of creating and editing icons in either standard or custom sizes, in color depths up to 16 million colors, it can change standard Windows icons and import Mac OS icons. Numerous file formats can be imported directly into icons here: .ico, .ani, .cur, .wmf, .bmp, .gif, .png, .psd, .wbmp, .xpm, .xbm and .jpeg. Additionally, Icon XP supports countless file export formats: icon images to .ico, .bmp, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .psd, .wbmp, .xpm, .xbm, .cur and .rc files. Customizing desktop attributes and folder icons is also a piece of cake for the program. What's more, you can import and export entire icon color palettes, which is especially important for crafting one color gamut icons. Icon XP provides sorting images inside icons, coping and pasting images to other applications and other features to explore and enjoy!
A list of merits can be easily continued - Icon XP can create and edit icons for Windows XP in 32-bit color depth with 8-bit alpha channel, and alter them in a variety of ways: drop shadow, smooth, grayscale, negative, roll, stroke, hue/saturation, color replacement effects are all available. With this utility, you can tweak angle, perspective, light illumination, gradients and other parameters of an icon.
