| Description: Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) - the leading download manager with over 100 million registered users worldwide, on both broadband as well as dial up connections. Using DAP over a broadband connection takes downloading speeds to a new level by maximizing the full potential of your internet speed, while being a 'must' application for any dial-up user - thanks to DAP's unique, patented technology of multi-server connections. DAP ensures your downloads will be served from the most responsive source, and increases your download reliability by automatic recovery from shutdowns, lost connections and various errors; auto hang-up after download, proxy settings, a patented AlwaysResume service for enhanced resume support. New features in version 7.4 include a filter pane that filters files on your file list according to various criteria based on download status (downloading, queued) and file type (music, video etc.). A history manager that allows browsing through previously downloaded files by time frames and keywords.
DAP offers multilingual support, including German, Dutch, French, Chinese (traditional), Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, and Italian. |
