| Description: In the real world, it is not normal to hand out your name and address every time you turn around, but, unfortunately, that is normal on the Web. The Internet seems to be completely anonymous; no one sees us and no one hears us when we surf the Web. In reality, however, this anonymity is not what it seems to be. Every website, every page, can clearly identify you based on your so-called IP address. It is possible to record exactly when you visited which site. With the help of cookies, it is even possible to follow your trail through the Web and create a profile of your preferences. Hackers discover your IP address and then specifically attack your computer. Based on the information your browser sends they can create an attacks that exactly targets the gaps in your particular system. As a result, you and your system become the target of unwanted advertising in emails, you may provide a starting point for illegal activity or you suddenly face an unstable operating system. ArchiCrypt Stealth brings this spying to an end. ArchiCrypt Stealth alters your identity - every second, if you wish - and allows you to determine what data may be sent and how the data should appear. The content filter, a plug-in based system allows you to modify incoming and outgoing data as you like. By blocking or falsifying cookies and browser and operating system information, you make it impossible to create a profile on you or to attack your system with tailor-made methods. There is even an integrated database, which filters known spyware and adware and prevents the installation of dialers and trojans. ArchiCrypt Stealth offers all functions within a central, very clear and intuitive user interface. All browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, Mozilla, Firefox, T-Online Browser,...) are supported. No manual changes to browser settings are necessary! |
