| Description: This program allows you to change the dates and times of any of your files, i.e. the date and times of the created, modified, and accessed. Any file and any date in the range of January 1st, 1900 12:00:00 AM to December 31st, 2100 11:59:59 PM, one file at a time or the entire directory.
DateTimeEdit also can provide more useful information about a file's accessed date and time. Just right clicking and looking at the properties of a file or even opening Windows Explorer can change the accessed date and time of a file. Using DateTimeEdit, you can look at the real last accessed date and time without changing it. Just set the accessed date and time, and if it is different the next time you check, you know someone has looked at the directory or even opened your file, and you will now exactly when.
Should your job requires you to turn in computer files, you can use DateTimeEdit to give the impression that the files where created or modified earlier or later then they actually where.
DateTimeEdit could also be used to place more meaningful dates and times on digital photos.
DateTimeEdit offers a straightforward Windows Explorer type interface. Changing drives and directories and choosing files is just a matter of a few mouse clicks. Once the user has selected a file or files, the Date and Time Selection window can be opened. This window shows a standard calendar view of the selected month and year, January 1900-December 2100, and any time of day can also be selected. Once the date and time have been selected, the user can click the individual buttons for the created, modified, and accessed date and time. |
