| Description: OptionGrid is a financial data-mining application designed to research, screen, and compare covered call option positions. OptionGrid downloads free, 20-minute delayed quote data from the Internet, and it performs a variety of calculations using that data, including annualized returns and downside protection.
OptionGrid provides powerful filtering and sorting capabilities to locate the best possible covered call positions from a portfolio of stocks. Additionally, the software calculates potential returns using an investor's own cost basis and share counts in a stock. Other features include quick data export to applications like Microsoft Excel and integrated access to 3rd party websites for information like charts, news, and analysis.
OptionGrid is designed for options investors who want quick, accurate evaluations of covered calls. The software is targeted to a wide range of investors, from the beginner who is just learning about covered calls to the advanced call writer who maintains a large portfolio of covered calls. |
