| Description: Commodity Server is a ready to go time series data warehouse, complete with database server, client software, and charting tool. Great for portfolio evaluation, market data consolidation, or even contract estimation.
Commodity Server is a Time Series Database Server. It simplifies any aspect of the Energy Enterprise through powerful but simple to learn constructs for manipulating time series data. You can create time series in any time zone and extract them in another. You can aggregate, slice by either time or value, perform arithmatic and logical operations on your time series data in nearly any conceivable fashion. Powerful as it is fast, Commodity Server engine is written in straight C++.
Applications for Commodity Server are vast. Custom Billing Operations can dump load data into Commodity Server, and quickly calculate tariffs. Power Traders might use Commodity Server to track position of their portfolios from individual trades all the way up to market pricing analysis. Environmentalists could use Commodity Server to record vast amounts of weather and emissions data.
Commodity Server comes with a simple Query Editor that gives you real examples, a .NET client, the server itself, a .NET charting tool, and a .NET stress tester and a .NET sample application. The charting tool, stress tester, and sample all ship with their source code. |
