| Description: Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 do not offer strong security options allowing administrators to manage logon and logoff in domains.
UserLock solves this features lack by tracking, notifying and securing the logon/logoff activity of your domains. UserLock runs as a Windows NT service and is based on agents that are automatically deployed without needing any end-user intervention.
The software is also compatible with Windows 9x or Windows Me operating systems without securing them.
Features
- UserLock limits the number of simultaneous connections under the same username on an entire Windows NT/2000 network
- Sets notifications for allowed or denied logon and logoff by popup messages or e-mail
- Tracks the activity of logon and logoff through a CSV log file
- 100% compatible with all existing software, UserLock restrains simultaneous connections on all computers with Windows NT or Windows 2000
- Thanks to the snap-in MMC (Microsoft Management Console) included in UserLock, the administrators can choose to limit certain users or groups and not others
- UserLock limits the number of simultaneous connections under the same username on an entire Windows NT/2000 network
- Restricts the computers where users or groups can logon either by computer name or by IP ranges
- Installed only on one server, agents are automatically deployed by the service without doing anything than clicking on Start
- Functions on all networks LAN or WAN
