Compare the bang for the buck on the cost of maintaining high-end graphics and processors and time management involved in hardcore gaming, and you’ll find that the only way to keep your social life and still play games is by playing LSN. Laser Squad Nemesis is a new two player, squad level, email strategy game designed by the creators of the award winning X-Com series of games. You can play anyone, anywhere in the world, as long as they have an email address. The game engine is a unique combination of turn-based control and real-time action with video style playback of all your battles. The email system allows you to play the game at your own pace, and play as many games concurrently as you can manage. The game is a battle between three opposing forces. You can choose to play the Laser Marines, Machina or Spawn, and you can choose the composition of your force before each battle. There are a large variety of battlefields (over 40) and two different scenario types. Download it now and take advantage of the free games offer. Apart from the free single player missions and hotseat mode, you can play 3 free email games against a human opponent. The easiest way to learn how to play is to download the LSN software, install it, and play through the tutorials. The game is played in 'turns' which represent 10 seconds of real time. Both players issue instructions for their units and the LSN software sends them to our central game servers for processing. The game server calculates the outcome and sends a results file to each player. This arrives in your email in-box, and all you need to do is 'open' the attachment to start LSN and play the next turn.
