| Description: Java voice streaming applet provides voice streaming without needing either a plug-in in the browser or an audio server at the other end. No need for a time-consuming plug-in nor the hassle of installing and RE-installing it (and all the other plug-ins) every time you upgrade your browser. Applet is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers.
Java applet downloads the compressed voice with bitrate 4800bps, decompress and playback it in the real-time. User may add JavaScript button to Web site for start/stop of voice streaming. For voice streaming 7 kbps modem is enough. Applet size is 26K. Click on the button for sounding! |
