| Description: The Stations of the Cross is a historic method of prayer and devotion. The exact origin of the Stations is lost in time; Some claim the Blessed Virgin walked the Via Delorosa in Jerusalem to visit the scenes of Jesus' passion on a daily basis. Since the Edict of Toleration, decreed by Emporer Constantine in 313, Christians have wished to walk the same path as Christ that fateful day, some 2000 years ago. Today, nearly every Roman Catholic church, and many Anglican churches, contain the Stations. Regardless of its origins, the Stations of the Cross is truly a beautiful method of bonding with one's Christian beliefs.
The Stations of the Cross - Via Delorosa is a program designed to assist the user in conducting the Stations of the Cross from start to finish. You do not need to be an expert to use this program. Simply follow the instructions which are available in the program's menu bar. Additional files are available for the user to advance his knowledge of the Stations of the Cross.
